Clean and store each item the way its own page describes. A wash note for lace does not apply to a plug. A note for a silicone ring does not apply to metal, to leather, or to anything with a battery. This page tells you how to sort those cases. It does not replace the instructions for the product you bought.
Before the first use
- Confirm the item is the option you ordered, and that it is not cracked, torn, or otherwise damaged. Do not use a damaged item.
- Read the material line. If the page never names a material, email info@zovelora.com before you clean it or use it. How those words work is explained in what verified material language means.
- If a hygiene seal is present, leave it intact until you decide to keep the item. Change-of-mind returns have to be unused and in new condition. The details are on the returns page.
Clothing
Lingerie, robes, and pajama sets follow a care label when one is sewn in or written on the product page. If neither exists, do not guess a machine cycle or a water temperature. Ask us with the product name. Do not apply a device-cleaning step to lace or mesh.
Products without electronics
Use the cleaning sentence on that product page. If the page names silicone, TPE, or metal but never says how to clean it, ask us before the first use. Do not boil the item. Do not soak a piece with rhinestones or glued details unless that page says you can. Do not use a cleaner or a lubricant left over from a different product unless this page allows it.
Do not store a silicone product and a TPE product in the same closed pouch. Some soft materials affect each other. Let the item dry before you put it away.
Anything that charges or takes batteries
This includes vibrators, wearable devices, and other powered products in the shop. Charge only with the charger supplied for that item, or the charger its page names. Do not use a damaged charger. Unplug the item before you clean the outside.
Keep electrical parts away from water unless that product page states the water-resistance. A picture of water, or an app connection, is not that statement. If the page does not mention water, keep the item dry.
If something seems wrong
Stop using the item if you notice irritation, discomfort, a smell of something burning, or a malfunction. Contact info@zovelora.com or the incident contact. Do not send intimate photographs or payment-card numbers. A faulty or misdescribed item is handled separately from a change-of-mind return.
